- Made from at least 70% post-consumer waste sourced from local mills
- Materials from suppliers are new fibre/wood pulp from reputable sources which adhere to the forestry management and sustainability body FSC
- Corn starch glues are used during construction and calico liners and natural rope handles are also available
- Low resource manufacturing process and low emission levels when cremated
- Biodegradable coffins are suitable for both burial and cremations
- Products and all materials are manufactured in the UK
- All cardboard coffins have been tested and are approved for cremation and burial by the FFMA
- They conform to the highest standards required by Funeral homes, Crematoriums and Woodland burial sites
- Recommended maximum load of 25 stone (159kg)
